Our Wednesday morning plans were cancelled due to the chance of rain. Since the weather was so cool, we decided to risk it with a trip to the zoo. It was the perfect day ~ cool temps and few people thanks to the last week of school for area schools. Gus making his elephant face Garrett was stuck on the termite hill, and he was annoyed that I captured it BEFORE helping him the bears were feisty. they were fighting and we got to watch. I bet they were brothers. lunch. we seriously love our little nibble boxes. Garrett loves to feed the birds and this time, he found one that was fond of him. I picture Gus saying "Daaaaaang!" This owl had one eye open and one eye closed. Garrett said "he's just like a pirate". Crazy boys. Love them! Garrett always enjoys watching the flamingos. This time he said he would really like to get a flamingo feather (his feather obsession continues).
