I got a text at 4:11 a.m. on Thursday that Mindy and Jarrett were headed to the hospital. The prior day's spicy food of enchiladas for lunch and chili for dinner must have worked! I couldn't sleep the rest of the morning, so Mom and I were up early. Annette and I were texting from about 4:12 a.m. At 5 a.m. I remembered that I was suppose to text my good friend and labor/delivery nurse, Shelley. I did, and at 5:05 a.m. she said she was going to the hospital so she could be the one to deliver Stella (she's awesome!).   We stalled on taking the boys to the hospital. We cleaned up the Christmas mess, ran errands and had lunch at Lucille's in FW... Everyone else was waiting at the hospital finding free things to play with:) She was born at 2:55 p.m. and around 3:45 p.m. we were allowed back.  of course, Mom got to hold her first. We woke up to thunder, lightening and hail on Christmas morning. However, the boys still slept until 8:30 a.m. I was up at 6 a.m. anxiously waiting for them to awake. Pretty soon we heard little feet and Garrett saying "Mommy! Daddy! Look!" Then it was on....  the crane was a hit with both of the boys. Garrett mainly loved the hook on the end.  push the cart or push the car....decisions, decisions.  it took them awhile, but they finally realized their stocking were full  Gus digging with G's big excavator from Nana and Papa  Santa converted the train table into a lego table.
