The Donaho's

While Zane was hunting on Saturday, Garrett & I hung out with Annette. First we went to Jimmy's Italian Market for paninis and Italian beer. They have the best selection of olive oil, wine, italian meats, cheese, and marinated olives. Then we went to the Farmer's Market. This is one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday, and sadly, this was only the first time I've taken Garrett. He wasn't too impressed with it. Then Annette and I got pedicures. I wish I could say this was Garrett's first experience with his Mom getting a pedicure, but it isn't. It's more like his fourth or fifth time. He likes the vibrating chair and hearing the girls speak Vietnamese (he just giggles when they talk to him), and that is reason enough for me to get a pedi. This time he was much more interested in the running water. I guess he was hoping it was bath time. Thanks Nettie for hanging out with us. Hope you enjoy your new Aero Garden.

We went to the Stockshow to watch the Hickok kids show their steers. They didn't have much luck in the way of judging, but we had a great time with them anyway. My new fountain for the backyard....let's hope the dogs don't ruin this one, too, by using it as their personal drinking bowl.

I'm sure Tia Erin captured a much better shot, but until she edits her photos, this will have to do (hint, hint, Erin). Here they finally are...all together at last! By the way, we were all together for Gage & Hunter's baptism.

Go Steelers! Garrett enjoyed his 1st Superbowl. We traveled over 1200 miles since Wednesday, so he was pretty tired, and didn't last too long. He enjoyed what part of the game he watched, however he was NOT impressed by the commercials (neither were we).
