Vacation Videos

Here are some videos from last week. I know most people don't really care to see this, but I've promised the aunts and grandparents a glimpse of Garrett's swimming abilities (if you call them that). Kisses...Zane asked Garrett to give him kisses and he did. It's his latest trick. Bubbles....Zane showing Garrett how to blow bubbles in the water The Little Swimmer....and talker.

Some of my favorite pics from vacation...

That hair! He really enjoyed watching the fountains. Reading the paper at breakfast one morning. His cheesy new smile... The Outlet Mall was right next to our hotel, so we could walk to it....my dream come true! This was the morning after our night swim. Garrett woke up around 7 a.m., so I brought him into snuggle, but he went right back to sleep. We had a huge tub in our room. Garrett wasn't quite sure what to think because it was like sticking him in a dungeon. Then the faucets made a rumbling sound because they are extra capacity to fill that tub up in a reasonable amount of time. That scared him, too, so over all, he didn't care for the big tub. That was not the case for me, though. It was great!

Last day in Florida

We fed the ducks at the resort our leftover bread. We had to sing Garrett's favorite song "5 Little Ducks" because there were 5 little ducklings. We had several hours to kill, so we headed east to Cocoa Beach. Zane doing diaper duty... Checking out the Atlantic Ocean... No drunken-filled beach with crazy college students is complete with out an emergency required firemen. It brings back such great memories of Spring Break! We made a quick stop at the Kennedy Space Center. It requires at least 4 hours (and about $40 per person) to tour the center, which we didn't have, so we just saw the rockets and shuttles from a distance. This is his new smile. He scrunches up his nose and shows his teeth. He is such a ham. Our flight was delayed, so Garrett entertained the other passengers... Garrett & Goofy: Garrett loves his little souvenir, so it is appropriate that these 2 are our final vacation picture.

Swimming

Zane & I both agreed that are favorite part of the trip was swimming with Garrett. He really loved the water and never cried once. He loved getting splashed, he liked his little floatie, and he didn't mind the cool water. The next day, he had the kicking thing down.

Night Swim

After Epcot, we were hot and sticky, so we had pizza by the pool and took an evening swim. Garrett still loved it - I thought he might not like the water since it was a little cooler. Nope, not at all. Blowing bubbles... He gave it a try... Waiting on our pizza delivery...

Epcot

Tuesday we went to Epcot. We are waiting until Garrett is bigger and Grandparents are with us to tackle the Magic Kingdom. We had a great time even thought the day started off rough when we realized I lost my camera ~ my beloved camera that I've had for 3 years. We had it at dinner on Monday night, so we either left it at the restaurant or it fell out of the stroller somewhere between the table and our car. Either way, it's gone. We lost some pictures from Monday at the pool, but I downloaded most photos that morning. Zane saved the day because he was smart enough to pack his camera because EVERY vacation leads to lost or broken valuables for us. Zane's goal was to have a beer native to each "village" that we visited in the World Showcase, which are villages representing 11 different countries throughout Epcot. He almost succeeded. Welcome to EPCOT (Garrett was sleeping)... He finally woke up to watch butterflies in the garden & butterfly exhibit... In the j...
