After a few days of staying in his pajamas and being homebound, Garrett is better. We discovered the Sprout Channel. Garrett hasn't watched much t.v. but by Friday I needed a break. Here he is watching Elmo and Barney in his favorite chair (and holding his trusty sock - he has a strange sock fetish). Lookin' real sick... Thank goodness he was better, fever-free, and non-contagious, so we were able to head to College Station to meet up with the family for Dad's Birthday.

After 2 days of fever, we went to the doctor today. Once we got there, Garrett was full of energy, chipper, and running around, so I thougth for sure there was nothing wrong with him. I was blaming it on the SIX teeth that are currently cutting through his gums. I was wrong - he tested postive for STREP THROAT. This explain his new fetish of sticking his fingers down his throat, and his new dislike for milk. After many requests from my sister, Annette, who thinks the previous video of Garrett is too brutal to watch, I will finally post some new pics. This is what I do to keep a sick toddler busy. Sorting laundry Cleaning Floors mop, mop, mop The nurse said to change sheets and get new toothbrushes to prevent passing the strep bug. In Nadine-like-style I took it a few steps further. We bleached and/or sanitized anything we could. I put away the nice, organic cleaner I typically use for Garrett's stuff, and broke out the big, bad bleach. We washed all bottles, toys, eatin...

Garrett is teething like crazy. He has been getting popsicles for dessert. Tonight we tried a fidgesicle....that was Garrett's first and last.
