Finally....the boys' rooms are done.

Image
Garrett's room... Thanks for the banner, Maggie!   We got some metal stars, drilled holes in them and attached rope lights to the back. G testing out everything in the nursery... D2's room... As soon as we figure out a name, I'll get a matching banner with the baby's name. Now that the rooms are finished, we are almost ready to have a baby....

Boxes of Fun...random photos of our week

Image
Just a few photos from this week.....to keep the aunties and grandparents happy:) When Garrett gets sleepy, he put his hands behind his head. So I always tease him when I catch him putting his hands behind his head by saying something like "you better not fall asleep". He thinks it is hysterical so he now puts his hands behind his head eagerly aniticpates me to say that to him. This is his face when I say it. He just cracks up. Pretty cute... We were working in the baby's room, and I put the newborn diapers in a basket. Garrett immediately wanted to put one on his baby brudder doll. Excuse the huge belly, but Garrett loves to put a flashlight on my belly. I think he is trying to see the baby. He does this at least once a day, usually more. Then he puts the flashlight on his belly. He also complains of his tummy hurting.....because "baby brudder ticking me". He takes both of his hands, and he presses them in multiple places on his stomach....just like I do app...

Yoga & Lunch

Image
We are really enjoying our Wednesday storytime yoga and lunch with our friends. Reading books about the sun... Garrett's yoga moves... Getty ready for the foot massages. The instructor comes by while playing relaxing music and rubs some lavender lotion on each kiddo's foot. They all love it. I wish she'd rub mine, too. Then we went to lunch...Garrett & Adrien watching Bob the Builder. Garrett, Adrien, Claire & Gracie... Boys will be boys ~ focusing on Bob the Builder instead of their pretty lunch dates.

Joanne's Birthday

Image
We celebrated Joanne's Birthday on Monday night in Ft. Worth at an art studio called "Peice of Work". It was a ton of fun ~ good girl time, yummy food, and great conversation. I've already signed Zane and me up to go there on a date night next week.   Joanne & Amber The beginning of our painting. First we painted the sunset/sky. The art instructor gave us plenty of breaks to eat and drink... Bake to work... All of us with our masterpieces... Birthday girl! One last group photo...
