The Donaho's

We have been waiting for several weeks for the weather to cool down so we can see our Ranger's play. Friday was one of the prettiest, most pleasant days we've had in weeks. We actually stayed in the parking lot tailgating until the second inning because the weather was so perfect. Gus~ Garrett pretending to be a "Wanger". He kept running in the dirt and sliding in it. A good spot to eat a hotdog. It's the cold bottle ~ helps with teething (i promise).... The National Guard had their equipment displayed all around the ballpark.  Military vehicles + military weapons = very happy Donaho guys. The National Guardsmen were SO NICE. They were very welcoming, accommodating and so eager to share with us what they do and why they were there.It is the ideal place to market to future recruits. What's cooler than a "choo-mungus" helicopter? A helicopter with "duns" Now we can play ball!

Hanging with the cousins... We had a great trip to New Braunfels. Garrett and Atlee had a blast "sorting" and making big messes. We enjoyed lots of great company, food, and conversation.   We came home to wild fires near our neighborhood. We are still praying for rain. The weather has been so beautiful that we've had the windows open, and have been outside every change we get (it's going to be hot again, so we are enjoying it while we can). Gus loved the entertainment through the screen. We took a trip to our nearby fish pond....it is down at least 3 feet. Heidi eating the bread we were trying to feed the fish. This girl loves carbs!
