Garrett thinks he can read. Lately he has been obsessed with books. He wants to be to read, or he'll simply read them himself. I'll find him throughout the day in his room all by himself just flipping through books and "reading" aloud. Lucky for us, he has so many books, thanks to all of our friends and family who gave them to us as baby and birthday gifts. Lucky for Zane and me, the books are very entertaining. Lately, his two favorites are Cowboy Small and Chicken Little (Chicken Little was a common bedtime story my Dad would tell us as kids and is Annette's all-time favorite story). The frustrating part is when he brings me a CD case or a DVD case and wants me to read it. So if any of our friends out there have any recommendations as to their toddler's favorite book, please let us know. We probably have the book, and I'll make it a point to read it to Garrett (or have Garrett read it to me).
