Farmer's Market

Image
We had a fun playdate at our house. After being gone, we were ready to see our friends. Everyone participated so that made it really fun..we had a great selection of produce:) The only issue was that the night before we had quite a storm that knocked down part of a tree. The kids loved playing in it all...it made a great fort. I was quite sad about losing part of the tree, but hopefully the tree will be okay.  all the kids shopping for produce...   Garrett and his buddy, Liam  helping the clean up efforts...

Gus's vacation from Garrett

Garrett stayed in Midland with Nana & Papa after we were at the ranch for the 4th. We didn't intend for him to stay, but he really, really wanted to, and I could tell Nana wanted him to stay, too:) So Gus got some more time to himself, but this time it was a whole week. On our way home from Midland, Gus kept saying "chi-en, mama" and pointing to the sky. We realized that he was saying the clouds looked like a chicken. I looked into the time that the commuter train that runs from FW - Dallas ran, and the times worked.   ...

PA 2013

We made it to PA on Thursday afternoon. The boys were excited to see Grandma Housler. That black picture frame on her end table is why i take so many photos...i send photos to her almost daily that she views on that black frame, so she can see the boys and what we are up to... Gus was sharing his ice cream come with her. Friday night we did our annual fish fry at the Barrel House. We get the run of the place and get to see some of our best-est friends. Saturday the Swedish Festival was in full swing. Getting a picture in front of the May Pole is a must. Swedish outfits courtesy of Nana. the vikings were there again this year, and the boys practically talked the guy's ear off. He was thrilled to have interests from youngsters, so the boys got to try on his authentic viking hat. This year Grandma took us to the Smorgasbord for lunch. The Lutheran church puts on a swedish food buffet. We went 6 or 7 y...
