Happy Birthday, America!
Up bright and early for Arlington's 4th of July Parade... Waiting, waiting, waiting for the parade to begin.... We could see the starting "line" of the parade, so anytime we saw activity the boys thought it was starting... We can see the parade.....it's about to begin and the boys were giddy! the Elvis"es" riding mini motorcycles...one of my favorites. a highlight for the boys....lots and lots of tractors our friends, The Boyse's Gus waved and waved and waved. This Eurocopter Firetruck was the boys' favorite. The people driving it were able to stand up in the cab. It was pretty "chumongous" as G says. still waving... The lollipop was the only thing keeping him awake. So many great floats.. We were back home by 11 am. For our patriotic lunch we had blue tacos and big red.
