Gus's 1st Trip to the Zoo

Image
Monday morning was so nice and cool that we decided we better head to the zoo to enjoy the day (since it will be 100 degrees before we know it). We finally got to check out the dinosaur exhibits Garrett was eager to see them from afar. Once we got close he wasn't so eager anymore. He kept saying "i don't yike them". Cooler days always bring the animals out... This was the first time we attempted the bird exhibit, and we loved it. Garrett only got nibbled on once by a bird as he was trying to catch it (something that is NOT permitted in the bird sanctuary).  Someone had a blow out in line for the train, so he got to ride the train in only a diaper. He was one happy boy. so thankful that Mindy got to take a break from unpacking to join us.  Glad he still loves trains. Thanks for joining us, Mindy!

Pit stop Gus can't wait to have a playmate... I had lots of helpers when it came time to changing Gus's diaper Thanks, Joanne, Chris and Adrien, for a wonderful afternoon!

I found Skinny Girl margaritas at our liquor store 1. I quit my job (I till can't believe I did it). It was a tough decision, and I'm going to miss the company and my co-workers, however, I'm thrilled to be at home with these crazy boys. Garrett was happy to see us when we arrived for lunch Mindy came with and got to meet his teacher and see his classroom. His gift to me (along with a necklace he made; he made one for Mindy, too). One of my favorite projects he's made.....a Mother's Day prayer with a picture of him praying. We celebrated the big day by meeting our friends at the park (and ...
