Baby Jackson and Garrett had their first date....at Cabelas. I'm sure it won't be their last time to meet up there. Kay & I waited nearly 2 hours in line while the guys shopped. it worked out great though because she and I got to catch up and chat while the guys shopped. Jackson is such a good baby and so adorable!

I'm a bad mom for even recording this, but I did anyway. I know it is wasteful, but his interpretation of how you blow your nose is kind of funny.

We went to see the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord in Grapevine. For those that have never been, ICE is this awesome ice sculpture exhibit that the Gaylord hotel puts one each year. This year's theme was The Grinch. Ice Sculptors from China sculpt all exhibits everything out of ice. The tent is kept at 9 degrees. There are even a couple of slides for the kids (and adults) to play on. if you've never been, I suggest it (it's about $23 but worth they experience). The hotel provides the parkas for everyone to where since it is so cold. Garrett & his Aunt Nettie... Our little penguin: a ralphie moment.... another ralphie moment, licking the ice... I used up some vacation time this past week, and Zane took some time off from adjusting. We had planned on heading west for a few days, but changed plans due to illness. So we decided to make the most of it and be tourists in Tarrant County. What fun we had! While running around Mansfield, I saw that a local bank just happened to have Santa, a sleigh, and a REAL reindeer in their parking lot taking pictures. I called Zane, who was home with Garrett, and he rushed down to meet me since Santa was only going to be there for a few more minutes. Garrett was excited to see the "dea". In the mornings, we just hung out and played... My little mountain climber.... Garrett "blowing his nose" while he wasted a box of kleenex... My fountain froze it was so cold....
