It's starting to look a lot like Christmas...

We finally got life in order enough to attempt getting the Christmas decorations out of the attic. Garrett really wanted to help...he kept saying "Here, Dad" and reaching his arms out. Finally Zane found a few things he could handle. Garrett found this antler set at the dollar store in the mall. He insisted on wearing it, even when the strap was rubbing  red mark on his face. This is Bellschnickle ~ our Elf on a Shelf. Garrett loves getting up each morning to see where he has "landed". We painted some Christmas presents one day last week... We chopped down our Christmas tree... Timber! Helping Daddy... Mimi was here for a work training, so she stayed with us for 3 days...woohoo! Riding this buckin' bronc like a pro while waiting for a table at Cotton Patch Cafe. Zane putting up Christmas "yights" as Garrett calls them.

Once he saw the train, he was all business, and kept asking when we were going to ride it. We got there about 1 hour before departure, so it was 50 minutes of "ride train, mom?" and "when we doe-ing on train, mom?". After he asked me, then he'd ask Nana, then Zane, then Mimi, etc. Na...
