2 going on 20

He gets things out of the pantry all by himself. When he wants to "help" with cooking, he goes into the pantry to get his stool. He was "helping" me clean the carpet sans underwear. Zane's Aunt Marilyn came over to visit last week, and together they painted a bird house. His "Don Deere tfactor" (as he refers to it) needed fixed, so he was taking a look at it. If you are going to wear overalls, you have to fix your "tfactor", right? While Zane and Jarrett were having a little "jam session" on Friday night, Garrett was their lead singer (he pretends the guitar stand is his microphone). But, first, he had to take a phone call.

Sweet Baby Gus

just to remember these precious newborn moments that are flying by all too quickly.

Playdate with Adrien

Image
Garrett had some "guy time" with Adrien on Thursday. They had lots of fun playing outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. Garrett is getting much at sharing (after just a "few" conversations about it:). And by a "few", I mean nearly a hundred. He let Adrien drive him around the yard. Then it was Garrett's turn. Adrien was busy doing yardwork. I see the future "Ax Men".

Open House at Tate Tots

Garrett was very proud to take us to his Open House. He and Gus just had to wear matching outfits for this special occasion (I just need an occasion to dress them alike). Is that a mischievous smile or what? The class has been learning about all things transportation related, as well as community workers. Garrett has especially enjoyed the transportation portion since it coincides with his most recent obsession with construction equipment, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, etc. Garrett's stoplight. Garrett has also learned the Pledge of Allegiance Proudly showing Daddy the hexagon. Giving Mrs. Alison a hug before leaving for Spring Break. Then we celebrated with pizza at Corky's.

Ashes to ashes...

Wild Wednesday

Image
Wednesdays are our busy mornings. We have Kindermusik at 10:30 am and we like to make it to kids Yoga at 12 noon. I haven't been able to do both since Gus was born, but last week we made it. We had a great time at both. Kindermusik featured drums so Garrett was loving it.   Gus was sleeping soundly in his carseat. We hadn't been to yoga in a month, but I was amazed at how much better Garrett's coordination was since our last time to yoga. He's getting so good at yoga moves:) Giving me a footrub
