All-you-can-eat Baseball

Wednesday night we joined the Hutton's for a Ranger game. Zane and I decided to just take Garrett, so he got a "date" with mom and dad. Our seats were in the all-you-can-eat section. Hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, popcorn, peanuts, nachos, and drinks were plentiful. (so my real motive for leaving Gus at home was to give me 2 free hands for hotdogs!). who taught this boy how to eat a hodog? Zane's face makes me laugh. Garrett and his ladies I caught Garrett with his hand on his heart during "Deep in the Heart of Texas". He is a little Texan through and through. more popcorn, please! This was our first time watching Yu Darvish pitch. Guess who was also at the game? big surprise:) Annette had a work function there the same night. The Rangers won, beating the A's 4-1.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Hanckowiak's last Saturday. Christophe made amazing steaks. Coincidently, we had dinner with them (almost) exactly one year ago Click here to see:) . Playroom silliness Our last Kindermusik class of the semester  Usually cleaning up is Gus's favorite part of playing the instruments, however he loves these balls with bells. He took off at clean up time, and Ms. Claudia finally tracked him down.  Our whole class.... Both boys slept while I shopped at Costco.  Before it was over, Garrett woke up and lost his seat because I could only hold the detergent bottle for so long.  They were rewarded for being so good...  This is Gus's "oh-no-you-didn't-just-throw-away-that-that-frozen-yogurt" face. Gus was slightly peeved Garrett tossed the cup since it was empty. Garrett got back in the stroller, and Gus was trying to physically get him. Burleson had an openhouse at their Police ...

Zoo Fun

I'm still catching up from our busy week last week. We've been really wanting to visit the zoo because Gus has turned into a little animal lover. He can make the sign AND sound for monkey, cow, horse, dog, pig, cat, and (just sign) fish. Books with animals, shows with animals, stuffed animals and little toy animals are all very popular with him currently. Just as I hoped, he had a ball. Garrett did, too, but he was a bit of a handful for a little while. Garrett's friend, Luke, was there. Lately, if Garrett is with a friend (typically a boy) he's not listening like he normally does, and gets very sassy with me. It's like he is too cool to even talk to me. I wasn't really expecting this at an early age or from a boy:) I'm praying it is a phase. Please, someone, tell me it's a phase. Gus was happy to have old Mom with him. Since G wouldn't sit with us, Gus's buddy Ian sat with him. He was tickled to have a friend. He would babbl...
