Treasure Day at Camp Thurman
After our Saturday morning T-ball game a few weekends ago.... and swinging at the playgroup.... we went to visit Camp Thurman at their annual Treasure Day. We have been wanting to send Garrett to Camp Thurman, so we wanted to first check it out. Within minutes of getting there (while the boys were supposed to be eating lunch) they were in the thick of it...play on the ziplines, playing in the creeks and running through the wooded areas. Gus was in on the fun, too... tons of scripture verses throughout the camp.... the zipline tower... painting pumpkins.... getting ready to do the climbing wall... Gus, too! archery.... This was only a small portion of what they offer. We could have spent an additional 4 hours there trying to see and do it all. The boys both loved it, but only Garrett is old enough to attend next summer.
