One of my favorite photos so far... I love that Heidi is peeking through in this picture As of July 6th, Gus is 5 months old (even though this is a little late).  He is such a sweetie He is laid back, goes with the flow, and very little bothers him. We began cereal right at 5 months, and he is even happier than he was before. He was getting very fussy from about noon to 6 or so, would only cat nap, and was waking up in the middle of the night. After we went to one feeding of cereal, he was a much happier boy. Since then, I've also started 1 veggie and 1 fruit at dinner time since he's been staring at anything we put in our mouths. He is a total rolly polly and get can from one end of the playroom to the other in no time by rolling over and over and over. He loves his jumper and tends to twirl in it. He still occasionally likes his swing (specially when tired from jumping or rolling). Big Brother is still his favorite hobby. Even when Garrett is a little too ro...

One of the best parts of Annette & Marcus's wedding was that Chad, Marisa and Ben came to visit us from Chicago. They wanted to be here for the big day. The last time I saw Marisa was at her baby shower in New Mexico, so we hadn't met baby Ben yet. He is such a cutie, and he wasn't phased at all by our chaotic household. Garrett and Gus loved playing with him.  We got to go our for dinner one night with out the kids. Francis watched the babies and Garrett stayed with my mom. It just so happens that Ben and Gus had the same jammies, so they had to wear them.  We had a blast, and we promised to make a trip to Chicago very soon.

My Grandmother planned on coming to visit us earlier this summer. When Annette & Marcus decided to get married, she delayed her trip a few weeks so she could be here for their big day. She stayed with us for a few days, went to Mindy and Jarrett's for a few days, and then back to our house. Garrett and Gus have been keeping her entertained. We have really enjoyed having her here, and we're sad she goes home on Wednesday.  Gus meeting Grandma when we picked her up at the airport on 6/29 Dinner on the new patio.....take out from Babe's Chicken Dinner House.
