Heading home

We are finally heading home after a fun-filled 8 days. It was great seeing lots of family and being out west, but getting everything loaded up was quite a task.

A Visit to the Ranch

Image
A few days after Christmas we left Midland, and headed to the ranch to see Julsie and Who Who. We hadn't been to the ranch since summer, so we were eager to get to the moutains. We had a pit stop in Pecos for some yummy Mexican food. Since Santa brought Garrett a guitar, he has become pretty passionate about guitars. He pointed at the sign and starred at it, so I can only assume it's because it had a guitar on it. Snow at the ranch. This is the most snow Garrett has seen. He had fun running around in it. Garrett wasn't sure what to think about the siren to call them in or the size of them up close. I'm glad to see he is wearing ear protection at an early age. More train pics and a few random things.

I'm still catching up on photos. Here are a few more train pictures. This train has numerous tracks, so it was relocated through the house and eventually to the garage once the weather was nicer. Whenever it was in the way (it was always in the way) it was moved to another location. The guys (my Dad, Marcus, Zane) decided to set up the tracks throughout the kitchen one night so Garrett could have a long haul. Garrett thought that was pretty funny (a multi-room train run). Aunt Nettie was incharge of the train whistle. and the wine. Out to the garage for an outdoor run with Papa. A few other random photos: Snow in Midland on Christmas eve. This is the first "official" time Garrett and I have experienced snow together. Garrett riding the swiffer like a horse. Silly kid.
