Last Day at the Ranch

Image
This is how Garrett sleeps - even if he is in his stroller. I told him he needed to get dressed and he said no. I said he would need to go back to bed, then. he said "Ok. bye bye, Mama. Have fun." Gage with his javelina... Anything Gage does, Garrett will do. Garrett adores his big cousin. Garrett and Zane with Zane's deer. Gage and Garrett playing on the skid steer loader....Garrett loves anything resembling a tractor or bulldozer. Gage pretending to drive, and Garett was sitting in the bucket. Garrett sitting on the tire of another peice of equipment (I don't know what this one is called:). A little boy and a big drink. Garrett and sweet Emery.... Garrett loved spotting deer...and he has gotten pretty good at it.

(or so he thinks he can). Wearing Daddy's eat protection...it's a great way to tune out Mom. We saw a beautiful Golden Eagle...Garrett was looking for it. the boys getting into the deer food. Garrett & Atlee both decided they needed to pee while at the deer feeder. We hope they don't scare away the deer. Helping Zane with the feed.... Happy Thanksgiving from Donaho 3.5!  Julsey's turkey was delicious. The boys admiring Julsey's ac...

They played outside while me and a few other moms set up the room for the "Feast". When the kids came back in side they were wearing their Indian Costumes. We had lunch... for our craft, we made cornucopias from sugar cones, raisins, dried fruit, berry cereal, and candy corn/pumpkins. They sang us 2 different songs... Another Mom read a Thanksgiving story.... Nana's pilgrims and turkey she sent to Garrett came in very handy for the party... We "built" a cornucopia  Then we headed to the airport to catch a flight to Midland....  Anxiously waiting for our plane.  so happy to be on the plane...  We were right behind the wing. Garrett kept saying "beeeg weeeeng...
