Grand Prairie "Yights"

Image
Saturday we met The Hanckowiak's for dinner at Rudy's (yum) and then went to the Grand Prairie "yights" (as Garrett calls them). It was about an hour long wait to get into the park, but it was worth it. Plus we got to listen to 2 hours of christmas music. (Zane was really excited about that part). Bar-B-Que Buddies.... This kid seriously loves corn on the cob. We left Rudy's and headed for Grand Prairie. Once we got in the park, Garrett could sit with us while we cruised through the lights. 2 miles of lights.... Garrett loving on Daddy...

Tate Tots Christmas & Cabela's...and a few other random photos.

Garrett is a bit obsessed with chapstick...  Fun at the park....  All ready for his party at school. Thanks for the new shirt, Aunt Nettie!  Party time at school! It was a Birthday Party for Jesus.  Zane and I got there around 11, and he was surprised to see us!  We got to do a craft with him...  Zane helped, too....  One of the Grandmother's read the class a book...  Then it was lunch time....  Birthday cookies for Baby Jesus' Birthday. They all sang Happy Birthday...  Giving Mrs. Alison her gift  Since I took the day off, we then headed to Cabela's to look around and ( for Zane to) do some shopping. I think I actually ended up buying more than he did.  Garrett can't get enough of this place. He loves it.  Looking at the moose.  Annette & Marcus: He saw this stuffed dog sitting on the side of the moose display and said Maggie  Checking out the fish...  This one was his favorite...  L...

Reindeer Kisses

On Sunday, one of the families in our neighborhood invited everyone over to see Santa and his reindeer. Our friends, the Percival's, came with us. We walked over despite the chilly wind. Gracie, Libby & Garrett Garrett didn't cry this time, but he didn't want to sit there too long. He was eager to get off of that lap. Mr. King and his wife dressed up. Apparently this is something they do each year. Gracie talking to Santa... Gracie and Libby.... Mrs. Claus was there, too. Garrett was really interested in Mr. King's lawn ornaments... Dasher & Dancer For the record, Garrett only made a reference to shooting the deer one time. Then he gave them a kiss! Santa checking on the reindeer.... It was nice to warm up by the fireplace before heading home....it was such a long walk;) Once we were home, we had hot chocolate then the guys made pizzas on the grill. Elizabeth and I just sat and watched. I don't think we lifted a finger....it was great! Gracie ...
