Mud Bugs & Baseball....Spring is here!

Image
Last Friday the boys and I went to see Winnie the Pooh at Casa Manana with the Mansfield Early Childhood PTA group. We got a huge group discount, and the boys loved the play. Gus did really well, too....he watched the whole thing and only needed a few snacks to keep him occupied. Next month is Seussical....so we hope it goes as well. anxiously waiting for Pooh! On Saturday, Garrett had his 1st t-ball game and team pictures. Gus and his friend, Kyla Garrett is doing really well. Playing with kids where he is the youngest (versus he was the oldest on the other team) has proved to be a positive experience for him. The other teammates are more mature, and there is no tackling like on the other team. Being an August baby, I guess he'll always be the youngest or the oldest in any extra-curricular group in which he's involved. He has played 1st base at each game, along with short stop and right/left field. Another nice change for this year is that out...

A visit from the PA cousins....

Tammy, Tom & Hailey arrived from Pennsylvania on April 9th. I'm so behind on blogging because I've been having issues with uploading pictures. I've been working on this post since they were here.  1st Priority was a Ranger Game. On Wednesday we attempted a Ranger game in 40 degree weather. It was cold, but we did it. Thanks to Annette & Marcus for hooking us up with their tickets. And because it was National Sibling Day... That night we bbq'd chicken, Tammy skyped with her dog (oh, yes she did) and hung out as we watched the sun shine and temperature increase.  Who Who sent Gus a little something. Over Easter, Gus loved riding hunter and Gage's horse like this. A packaged arrived at our house about a week after Easter. The boys have loved it, especially Gus. He rides it and see "heee-yaw, heee-yaw". If he's not wearing a hat, he jumps off to get it and then starts again. Thanks, Julsey ...
