Moving Day...

Image
Packin' em up and shippin' em out... At the new house... One last picture at  Farmington... Mindy and Jarrett so eager to help! They are life-savers! Garrett "cleaning". Helping Mimi... Eventually, he was bribed to stay outside with this new toy. Helping Dad... He has Zane's little wrench...copying Dad perfectly! Aunt Marilyn brought us dinner and provided baby-sitting this evening... Coincidence??? What a day...and so much, much more to do.

Day 5 - Going home

Our last few hours on the beach...but oh-so ready to see Garrett! Back on that darn plane again... Adios, Belize! Enjoying the view... Our flight was very short and uneventful. The flight from Belize City to DFW was 45 minutes early, which made us very happy. We missed Garrett so very much! He loved all of his presents, except for the scary monkey  I bought him. I should have known since it looked a bit distorted. He especially likes the 2 little birds that we bought from a Mayan woman. Aunt Mimi and Aunt Nettie (and your helpers) did an amazing job with him. He misses you both. Thank you so very, very, very much! XOXO

It was much cooler than previous days (78-80 degrees) so bike riding was more tolerable. Or maybe it was just that it was the first time in a long time that I've riden a bike without a toddlerbehind me. A bike ride that was 35+ pounds lighter was a breeze. Don't ask about the skirt - I did not bring 1 pair of shorts (not intentionally). Only skirts, bathing suits a 1 pair of white linen pants. However, it was fine - no mishaps. We stopped at Francis Ford Coppola's Turtle Inn for a Bloody Mary. It was locat...
