The Donaho's

Thanks to  my awesome friends, I haven't had to cook since we've been home from the hospital. Almost every night, someone arrives at my house with a delicious meal (and usually with a dessert!). It has been more helpful than I ever expected, and very helpful in getting back in shape. So Friday night we decided to go out to dinner, and in staying with tradition, we decided Gus' 1st meal out had to be hibachi. Gus and Cooper Leach finally got to meet. Lisa and I met up for lunch while Garrett played on the playground. Both babies were good, but we missed Brylee.  Gus @ 10 days old  Cooper @ 4 weeks old  Garrett played at the Central Market playground  all the kids under the play structure having "storytime" which was led by a little girl who came up with her own storytime.  Garrett kept following these older kids around.

Garrett was very excited to have a bath buddy, so I tempted my luck and gave them a bath. Lucky for me, Garrett was very gently and kept splashing to a minimum. It went well. Gus loved the bath, sound of the water, and warm washcloths. Gus' hair gets really curly when it's wet. I love it and hope the curls stay (but very doubtful they will). Gus got to play on the floor while I got Garrett out of the tub. He enjoyed some tummy time. and snuggles from big bro... Gus thought story time was boring.

We are getting back into the swing of things. Garrett is back at MDO this week, and the boys and I have ventured out a few times. Wednesday was Garrett's first Kindermusik class. He loved it, followed Ms. Claudia's directions perfectly, and continues to have good rhythm. Playing the bells... Using the scarves to make motion during some of the songs. Snuggling with Gus all the boys - 2 of them crying and Zane pretending to cry... From about 8-10 pm Gus is really alert. On Wednesday night he started to look around and watching his little lamb that lights up and plays songs. His hair is wild. On Thursday Gus joined me for a pedicure. I think Garrett was about the same age when he joined me for the 1st time. He, too, loves the vibrating chairs. After picking Garrett up from MDO, we came home to find a surprise at our door.
