The McEvoy's

Image
The moon and stars all lined up, and we were actually able to meet up with my very good friend, Christine, and her husband and kids while all of us were in Houston. They moved to Australia a few years ago, where Christine is originally from. Since then, we haven't had a chance to meet up due to our crazy schedules (and pregnancies). So, it was really great to see them, while they were visiting Brian's family in Houston. It was totally coincidental that we happened to be there while they were there, so I guess it was meant to be. We hope to visit them next time IN Australia. Christine, Garrett & Me The whole gang... Brian, Christine, Annabelle & Lilliana These sweet girls were tired. I don't know how Brian & Christine adjusted the kids to an 18 hour time difference, but they did it. The kids are beautiful and so sweet!

Toes & Prunes

While at the hotel in Houston, his car seat doubled as a high chair. I needed 4 arms to feed him. He'd get a spoonful of cereal and prunes, then put his foot in his mouth. Yum!

5 Months Old

We had a busy day. First we went to church, and today was extra special because Madison was baptized. We had lunch with them to celebrate. Madison is just 2 weeks younger than Garrett. Then we headed to Cabela's. He loved the fish... Look at those teeth (you can see two little white specks if you look closely)! He has 2, and I think there is another one coming in. I guess I didn't realize they would come in so quickly and close together. When we got home, we tried some prunes. He is still having some poo poo issues. He loved the prunes. Then he burned off his dinner while Zane made us gumbo. We only have a limited number of door jambs that are suitable for the jumper, and this is the only one in the kitchen. Thank goodness he enjoys hanging out in the pantry. At 5 months old, Garrett is sleeping from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. He has 2 teeth. He loves bath time, kicks water everywhere, and doesn't mind when water gets in his eyes. He loves his jumper, sitting in the front pac...

Garrett's 1st Stockshow Experience

Image
Saturday night we went to the Ft. Worth Stockshow. Everyone else had the same idea because it was packed. I think Garrett enjoyed it though, especially seeing the animals. He was in such a good mood. Everytime someone stopped to look at him, he would give them a huge grin, and make a total scene. He's such a ham (no stockshow pun intended). Some (very nice) stranger thought Garrett needed a hat to sit on the saddle....this picture cause a traffic jam because everyone stopped to wait for a smile. Test driving saddles... My boys... Shopping for bulls for WhoWho... He thought those animals were pretty cool...
