Time to Party
Annette & Marcus wanted a low key, casual party to celebrate their nuptials on July 8. They opted for a backyard BBQ the following day at our house. The party preparation was a good excuse for us to complete some house projects, and I was up for the challenge to host a reception (i've only done it once and that was my own). It was a blast, we got to see so many friends, and meet lots of new people, too. Miraculously, right before the party began, cloud moved in and it cooled down a few degrees. Personalize M&Ms (it had their picture on them). They served the food, brought all their own supplies (chaffing dishes, tables, serving utensils, plates, etc) and clean everything up. It was awesome!
