Rainy Day Fun
Friday had a 100% chance of rain ~ that's rare so we took advantage of it. Mindy & Stella came over (with cream cheese pumpkin bread in hand) to assist in the "several" Fall crafts we had planned to make. The boys woke up and immediately wanted to go outside. I tried to discourage it and just cuddle up and watch Curious George with me, but nope.... They are addicted to the mud and the dirt. They saw this sloppy mess and could not resist the urge to work on their construction site (which has migrated from the sandbox). After they were soaked, muddy and cold, they got baths and then they tried out the new window crayons... We worked on some Owls to send with Zane to give to Who Who. Like all good pinterest projects that claim to keep kids entertained for hours, the kids were over it in about 10 minutes. Gus was done in like 2. Stella had a paint mishap.
