The Donaho's

Bellschnickle left Garrett a little gift to let him know he was being a pretty good boy. That darn elf spoke a little too soon, though.  Looking out the window Wednesday morning  Spotting his surprise...  The note from Bellschnickle read "Dear Garrett, Be good. I'm watching you!".  He got a new Duck & Goose book (he say Duck & Doose)...  And a snowglobe (however this sweet snowglobe only lasted a few days, and now this snowglobe has left an eternal glittery mark on my kitchen floor).  He loved it while it lasted...

On Friday night we went to Grapevine with some of our friends and rode the North Pole Express. It was a much shorter version of the one in Grapevine, but we figure Garrett would enjoy the train ride with his buddies. The shuttle bus from the parking lot to the train station was a thrill for Garrett. The had a Christmas performance prior to the train ride. Clapping to the music.... All the kids were allowed to go on stage to sing Jingle Bells. Garrett was more interested in bugging Adrien. Once we boarded the train, there was "snow"... Chris, Adrien & Joanne... All Aboard... Sooooo excited... Checking tickets.... Clapping to the music.... Then we picked up Santa... The Grayson Family... us... Playing with the train table in the gift shop... Then it was Garrett's big chance to tell Santa what he wanted. We practiced, but not sure if he'd go through with it.... Walking towards him all by himself... Telling Santa that he wants a tractor and bulldozer... After talking...

Garrett woke up from his nap to a train running around his tree. He though It was very entertaining. Trying to wear Sophie's Christmas collar. Unwrapping ornaments... Decorating the tree.... Decorating Garrett's little Christmas tree He put the collar on Sophie and said "you handsome, Soph". We went to a little, local coffee shop to see Santa. It was a pretty bad Santa,  from the fake beard to the pillow on his belly, but, Garrett actually sat on his lap.                                                                                        ...
