Greta's 1st Camping Trip! We just did a little trip to Joe Pool for the weekend.   Garrett at 4 months old   Greta at 7 months old. Sam outfit.   We lucked out with a creek right behind our campsites. The boys had a total blast getting dirty and exploring.  Waiting on breakfast  She takes after her brothers with her love of pancakes.  Kona snowiness showed up just in time to cool us down.   She got to go on her first bike ride.  The boys went to the beach for a little while so Greta could nap.  Our group pic ~ so much fun!  one last bike ride and Greta fell asleep  Gus packed his own clothes and didn't listen to what i told him to pack. He arrived for the weekend with several swim suits and jeans, but not regular shorts or underwear. Thank goodness Cayden had clothes to spare....

**beware: lots of photos** Every other year, my family tries to do a getaway all together. In 2008 we went to the Outer Banks. In 2010 we went to Port Aransas. This year we opted for something more centrally located. My sis-in-law's close friend stayed at this place last year, and I remember her pictures from Facebook. She gave me all the info (thank you, Gina!) and we booked it back in January. As it turned out, it was a perfect place for us. It was a 5 acre property about 3 miles outside of Wimberley. It had a 2900 square foot house, and an 800 square foot guest house was attached. This was the master bath office area guest house I didn't know this when we booked, but the guest house had a little bunk loft. Garrett kind of slept around :) (one night with Nana and Papa, one night on the couch, one night in our bed, etc). but this was the perfect, quiet spot for Gus and his pack and play.  This is the guest house living area. ...
