Pumpkin Patch w/ Karsyn

Image
We had a date today with my cousin, Devon, and her little girl, Karsyn. Garrett made his first appearance at Chick-fil-A. Then we headed to the Pumpkin Patch in Plano. Now that Garrett is looking around and taking in more of his surroundings, we made a visit to Babies R' Us. He "picked out" a bouncer and a mobile for his crib (which he has not yet slept in - he's still in the cradle in our room). If we are feeling adventurous , we might take a nap in it this week.

The book signing started at noon, and by 11:15 there were over 300 people in line....all of them in front of Annette and Marcus (who arrived before us). So Zane & I got to Uptown, parked the car, got out the stroller and headed to the store. As we were heading to the back of the line, one of the Sur La Table associates asked us if we had a baby in the stroller (dumb question, but I let it slide). At that very moment I started to feel my temperature rise because I was expecting her to tell us "sorry, no strollers". However, to our surpris...
