The Donaho's

This Saturday Garrett & I walked another 5K. This time we did the Vineyard Run in Grapevine. You are rewarded at the finish line with a wine tasting! Kay, Wanda, Mindy, Sandra, and Sandra's friend, Donna walked as well. We had a great time. Kay & I walked the 5K in 54 minutes.

Garrett has been more generous with his smiles lately. Here are some photos and a video clip.

Garrett loved hearing his Daddy play him songs on the guitar. So far he likes old Hootie and the Blowfish songs and Pure Prairie League songs. Quites diverse!

We met Kasey & Ty and Rebecca & Halie for lunch today. We looked like the baby stroller derby....how times have changed.

I guess my flash was a bit over zealous, but I was trying to catch him smiling. This is the best I have for now, but will post a better one as soon as I can snap one.

Today we had a check up with the doctor. Garrett weighed in at 10 lbs 12 oz. He is 22-1/2 inches long. He is at the 70 th percentile for height, weight and head circumference . He was so good at the doctor's ~ full of smiles and moving his arms and legs like crazy. I took this video with my camera, so there isn't any sound. The smiles only lasted until they pricked his heel...then he was mad. Poor guy!

Today at the mall I gave him his pacifier while he was in his stroller. He kept spitting it out, and I would put it back in. Finally, he started holding it in with this hand. He is so smart:) The cashier at GAP didn't understand what the big deal was....duuh!

On Saturday night, we stayed in downtown Ft. Worth so that I could join in Ashley Arnold's bachelorette party festivities. Zane & Garrett hung out while I went to the lingerie shower and dinner. This was also Garrett's first time to try the bottle. Zane thought feeding him was "so cool". I thought so, too. Aunt Nettie stayed with us, and G got to hang out with her.
