Wednesday we met with Lori & Madison to give Gymboree a try. Garrett really enjoyed it, especially the parachute. All the Moms get in a circle while the babies are lying face up. The Moms make the nylon parachute go up and down. When it would land on Garrett's face, he would smile and then watch it as we threw it back up in the air. Lori & Madison... Garrett's 1st Story Hour at the Mansfield Library...

He is full of personality these days & very chatty. His babble is loud enough that I'll here him babbling from his room or the cradle when I'm in the kitchen. He continues to smile and has starting doing the "full body" smile, where he throws his fists, kicks and feet, and lets out a squeal when something is really funny. We've even witnessed the occasional giggle. He is enjoying tummy time for longer periods and getting very strong. He is practicing to crawl by kicking those legs until he turns himself about 90 degrees. He loves to stand up while on our laps, pull my hair, and grab onto fingers. In the last week or so he has also started to notice whenever Sophie is near him. His eyes follow her until she is out of sight. Such an accomplished 12-week old!
