Since the boys were at Nana and Papa's this weekend, I had time to do some shopping (which doesn't happen if the boys are with me). I made myself wait a few days, but on Monday, I brought this baby home: These are just some random photos from the last 2 days as I have played and played with the camera.  don't ask....  both boys jump in the pool over and over again.  Gus's "jump" is not very graceful.  Garrett, Zane and I took in a Rangers game. As it turned out, mid-July was great because the Olympics begin in 1 week, and I think G will LOVE watching the swimmers and divers. I just hope he doesn't start requesting speedos:) And Gus....he was such a trooper. He stayed in his stroller/chair for 30 minutes each day and watched big brother swim in the water that ...

Since Jarrett was out of town for work, Mindy spent the night with us for her birthday. Garrett and I discussed the night before about having a surprise party for Mimi in the morning.  He was up bright and early to make sure we were proceeding with the plan:)  We decorated the guest bedroom door.  Party glasses for breakfast  Garrett wanted to take a picture of Mindy and me.  After swim lessons and lunch, we were off to Dallas to spend the night with Annette and Marcus. The gals did some shopping, got pedis and picked up food from Eatzi's for the concert. Then we headed to Dallas Arboretum for an outdoor concert.  the birthday girl.  we lucked out. the boys were in really good moods, thanks to long naps.  Gus was a ham all night. he spotted the cookies we brought and he was excited about them.  Garrett's typical treat during a special occasion is rootbeer.  ...
