Grand Prairie Lights

Image
December is almost here! The fireplace is one in the mornings and the boys are wearing sweaters.   We did a 5K through the Grand Prairie Lights a few weeks ago.    It was before the park officially opened to the public, so we got an up-close look at the lights without waiting in line. We decorated the boys' stoller.  Garrett wanted to wear his number like a runner.  a little ball playing before the 5k started.  Garrett and Heston were ready. I wish I had a group picture because we had quite a few people on our team. Fun times!

One mom from our playgroup hosted a farmer's market playdate where all the kids brought some fruits or veggies and then "shopped" for some of each. Last Friday we went to the Ft. Worth Stockyards for a playdate in Ft. Worth to see the morning cattle drive. My boys are always up for boots, jeans and their hat. We had about 7 moms and their kids. And a few grandmas. Gus and Jackson waiting for the cattle drive... Koen and Garrett & Kyla and Gus. They know each other from church and are always happy to see each other outside of church. Last Monday we attempted to go to McKinney to see the Dinosaur exhibit at the Heard Museum  We almost got there and realized they were closed for Veteran's Day. So, we went to the aquarium in Dallas instead, and Luke and Jennifer joined us. This was Gus's first time...
