Mardi Gras & Lent
Annual Pancake Mardi Gras at church. the kids did a little song and routine. and we finally realized the source of all the two-stepping and dancing G & G have been doing. Even Gus's teacher mentioned that he dances with the girls in class and acts like he knows what he is doing. who would have thought he learned it at church! ;-) the after party. We had plans to go to the Mardi Gras parade in Oakcliff after church. However, those plans were destroyed with the next artic blast. instead we took Marcus to lunch at Chuey's and rushed home (school was cancelled the following day). Fat Tuesday was Marcus' birthday so we sent him a video of the boys singing. We enjoyed jumbalaya and king cake. the boys danced to some zydeco music. and...we NEVER found the baby. either Gus ate it or we were scammed by Kroger! on Ash Wednesday we had lunch at Prince Lebanese... with our favorite lunch dates... ...
